BrokenTube Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• You may register with email and password (including your name) or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Optional two-factor authentication (2FA) may be enabled in Settings. You are responsible for safeguarding your authenticator device and recovery options.
• You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of unauthorized access at [email protected].
• You may not share accounts, resell access except through our official Partner Program, or use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

2. Description of the Service

BrokenTube helps YouTube creators, affiliate marketers, and agencies protect revenue and improve channel operations. Depending on your plan, the Service may include:

• Link health scanning — automated and manual scans of video descriptions (and related workflows) to detect broken, redirected, protected, or live links.
• Dashboard & reports — scan history, per-video reports, CSV/PDF exports, and channel-level analytics.
• Bulk Find & Replace — batch updates to link text in video descriptions (where your plan permits).
• Comment tools — pinned comment scanner and replacer (plan-gated).
• AI tools — including AI Optimizer, AI Channel Audit, Metadata Analyzer, Competitor Spy, and related SEO recommendations.
• Growth utilities — Rank Tracker, Link Shortener, Earnings Estimator, Compliance Checker, Metadata Downloader, and AdCanve Suite features.
• Public Free Tools — limited tools on /free-tools that may be used without a paid subscription (subject to rate limits).
• Chrome extension — browser extension that works with your BrokenTube account (see Section 8).
• Agency features — team member access, white-label PDF reports, and API access on eligible plans.
• Support — tickets, feedback, and in-app help as described on the site.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Plan limits (channels, scans, tool usage quotas) are described on our Pricing page and in your account.

3. Subscription Plans, Billing & Refunds

Paid plans may include, among others: Creator Pro, Pro, Agency, and Affiliator Lifetime (one-time payment). A free Starter tier is also available with limited quotas.

• Prices, billing intervals (monthly, or multi-month terms where offered), and feature limits are shown at checkout and on our Pricing page.
• Payments are processed by third-party providers (including Cryptomus for cryptocurrency payments). We do not store your private wallet keys or full payment instrument details.
• Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your account or via support. Lifetime plans grant ongoing access subject to these Terms and fair-use limits; they are not a promise of perpetual service if we cease operations.
• Coupons, partner license keys, and promotional offers are subject to their stated terms and may be revoked if misused.
• Except where required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused scan credits, or unused tool quotas.
• We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

5. Acceptable Use

• Use the Service only for channels and content you own or are authorized to manage.
• Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, scrape the Service, reverse engineer our software, or interfere with security or infrastructure.
• Do not upload malware, spam, or illegal content through support or feedback channels.
• Do not use AI-generated outputs as legal, financial, or medical advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing and applying changes to your YouTube content before publishing.
• Automated scans and bulk updates may consume YouTube API quota; we are not liable for delays or failures caused by third-party platform limits.

6. AI-Powered Features

Certain tools use third-party AI providers to analyze video metadata and generate suggestions (e.g., titles, descriptions, audits, competitor insights). Outputs are provided "as is" for informational purposes. We do not guarantee accuracy, rankings, revenue outcomes, or compliance with YouTube or FTC disclosure rules. You must verify all suggestions before applying them to your channel.

7. API Access, Team & White-Label (Agency Plans)

• API access (where enabled) is licensed for your internal business use only. You must keep API credentials confidential and not expose them in client-side code or public repositories.
• Team members you invite act under your account's plan limits. You are responsible for their actions.
• White-label reports may be shared with your clients; you may not misrepresent BrokenTube as your own software product or remove required attribution where we specify it in the product.

8. Chrome Extension

Our Chrome extension supplements the web app (e.g., for link workflows on YouTube). It is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must install it only from official distribution channels we publish. The extension operates within your browser and your logged-in BrokenTube session; do not use modified or unofficial builds.

9. Partner & Reseller Program

Approved partners may purchase and distribute license keys under separate partner terms communicated at signup. Partners must not make false claims about BrokenTube, circumvent official checkout, or share keys publicly in violation of program rules. We may suspend partner accounts for abuse or fraud.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by BrokenTube or its licensors. You retain ownership of your YouTube content and data. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT LINK SCANS WILL DETECT EVERY BROKEN OR REDIRECTED URL, THAT BULK UPDATES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED. LINK STATUS CHECKS RELY ON THIRD-PARTY SERVERS AND MAY PRODUCE FALSE POSITIVES OR NEGATIVES.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrokenTube and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, affiliate commissions, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service—including losses from undetected broken links, incorrect AI suggestions, or YouTube policy actions.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, or legal requirements. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., liability limits, intellectual property) will survive termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes may be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangladesh, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
